This is where you’ll eat the best food in town, get served like a prince and throw the best bachelorette dinner: Duck Private Cheffing! Here the chef and the staff cherish what one would call “extremely good food” while respecting raw ingredients. They fresh seasonal ingredients from their own vegetable garden, serve only the best fresh meat and cook recipes with great enthusiasm. We are fans of their work.
So, we had heard of this place time again and again and thought we give it a try to my friend’s bachelorette dinner. They took care for the table setting and we just made sure our bride got fresh flowers (roses) in boho mason jars, matching the look of the wedding beach party that came after.
I was a bit hard to find the exact location of the restaurant but it was totally worth it. We were served the best wines of the region and ate a few delicious new recipes we had never tried before. One of them involved a special Peruvian potato mash, you can see it below, it’s the purple one, totally yummy! You might have spotted a huge portion of meat somewhere in the slideshow that follows; that’s one of their specialties, you should order it and place it in the middle so everybody in the table gets a grab.
Our tip: book early and bring a lot of friends with you. Bear in mind the restaurant is currently closed for vacations and the crew will be back in September. Sit across the open kitchen and enjoy!
And this is what happened next: we’re in front of the White Tower, the city’s symbol, buying folk art for the bride to take with her in her new home, in Canada! Farewell!
