Monmouth Coffee started roasting and retailing coffee in 1978 and built a sampling room for their customers to try their coffees before buying beans. They moved roasting out of Covent Garden in 2007 and their coffee is now delivered every day from their site in Bermondsey. They travel extensively throughout the year, visiting the producers and cooperatives with whom they work and looking for interesting varietals of coffee and new farms from which to buy.

They make single cone filter coffee and espresso based drinks. Their organic Jersey whole milk is from Somerset and their organic whole cane sugar from Assukkar, Costa Rica. They have handmade pastries and fresh cream truffles, while in the colder months, they also serve single-origin chocolate…! Go, London, go!

Το Monmouth Coffee ξεκίνησε το ψήσιμο και τη λιανική πώληση καφέ το 1978 και έχτισε μια αίθουσα δειγματοληψίας ώστε οι πελάτες του να δοκιμάζουν τις διάφορες ποικιλίες καφέ πριν να προχωρήσουν σε αγορές. Το 2007, το Monmouth Coffee μετέφερε τη διαδικασία ψησίματος καφέ από το Covent Garden στις καινούργιες εγκαταστάσεις τους στο Bermondsey. Oι ιδιοκτήτες ταξιδεύουν εκτενώς όλο το χρόνο, επισκέπτονται τους παραγωγούς και τους συνεταιρισμούς με τους οποίους συνεργάζονται και αναζητούν ενδιαφέρουσες ποικιλίες καφέ από τις οποίες αγοράζουν.

Στο Monmouth Coffee θα βρείτε καφέ φίλτρου και ροφήματα με βάση καφέ εσπρέσο, ενώ το πλήρες γάλα τους είναι από το Somerset και η ζάχαρη από ζαχαροκάλαμο Assukkar, Κόστα Ρίκα. Επίσης έχουν χειροποίητα γλυκά και φρέσκιες τρούφες που θα λατρέψετε, ενώ τους πιο κρύους μήνες, σερβίρουν επίσης και ζεστή σοκολάτα…! Αχ, Λονδινάκι!
